A half or full day tour, to enjoy an incredible variety of birds and a great variety of nature and landscapes offered by the Paraguay River and Manduvirá River.
On this tour you will enjoy a walk through the trails of Puerto Olivares, discovering a great variety of birds and some species of mammals in the natural vegetation of its forests, a boat ride on the Manduvirá and Paraguay rivers, and you can even go on a kayaking adventure on the Manduvirá, in an environment full of nature and landscapes.
Some of the interesting birds that are usually seen during the tour are the Purple and White Herons, the Great and Medium Kingfishers, the Aurora Surucuá, the Great Toucan, the Aninga, the Black and Congo Wigeons. Many wetland birds such as the Angú, the Federal, the Curutié colorado, the Espinero Grande and the Burrito Grande. Parrots and parakeets are also common, among them the Ñanday, the Blue-headed and Orange-fronted Maracanás, the Green-headed Chiripepé, the Choclero Parrot.
Departure
Midday tours: usually at 5:30 am in the morning, and 1:30 pm (winter time) or 3:00 pm (summer time). Duration approximately 6 to 7 hours.
Full day tours: generally at 5:30 am. Duration from 10 to 12 hours (depending on winter/summer schedule).
Pick up and return point: to be defined in advance for each tour.
